The Registry is responsible for facilitating the work of the Archbishop. This involves:

•  the licensing of those involved in ministry,
    churches and faculties,
•  coordinating the Nomination Board process,
•  publishing the Diocesan Year Book; and
•  registering the appointments of parish
    office holders.

The Sydney Diocesan Archives is a private, ‘in-house’, business, and academic research archive. The Sydney Diocesan Archives provides information storage and retrieval services to the staff of the Archbishop’s Office, the Sydney Diocesan Secretariat, Anglican parishes and churches, and Anglican organisations, within the Diocese of Sydney. Access to the research collection is by application to the Sydney Diocesan Archivist.
